  MARKETCETERA OPEN SOURCE TRADING SYSTEM FIRST TO OFFER NVIDIA GPU ACCELERATION

As of today, Lakeview is offering cutting edge high performance computing options for the Marketcetera platform that leverage the parallel processing power of NVIDIA graphics processing units (GPUs)

Using these performance options, common calculations such as theoretical prices, implied volatilities, implied dividends and correlations as well as risk simulations, amongst others, can be done on NVIDIA GPUs, offering speed ups of 10-200x, depending on calculation, in comparison to current commercial trading systems that run calculations on traditional hardware.  

Marketcetera is breaking speed barriers for complex calculations and system performance with this offering and is among the first trading system generally available to the public offering such advanced features. With this offering, the open source offering is overtaking its commercial rivals in implementing cutting edge technology first.
